I have for you the PRISTINE matching pair of WWII British Despatch/Dispatch Riders Glove/ Gauntlets Dated 1944. If you have been looking for an above average pair for a long time, this is it. From what I have seen in pictures, these were used by anyone who had to drive something. there is one pic with Special Air Service, Royal Marines & of course a Dispatch rider. LTD STOKE-UNDER-HAM 1944 THE WAR DEPARTMENTS BROAD ARROW STAMP IS CLEARLY VISIBLE AND SIZE STAMP 8 1/2 THEY DON'T SEEM TO HAVE BEEN WORN MUCH, MOST OF THE WEAR, MARKS AND IMPRESSIONS COME FROM OBJECTS, SUCH AS A ROUND TIN OR BOTTLE, WHILE SITTING ON THE GLOVES PROBABLY ON A SHELF IN A GARAGE. THEY MEASURE APPROX 13 1/2" IN LENGTH.
