Lotus Racing Car Tin Toy

Early 20th century - style, wind - up racing car. The racer features the racing no. "27" on the front and back - sides, rubber tyres, 8 cylinders sticking out of the bonnet and a cool - looking driver (he's wearing goggle shades!) Length 24cm approx. All of our tin toys are reproduced using the same manufacturing techniques employed in the mid-19th century. Being somewhat primitive compared to modern manufacturing methods, the toys sometimes have little marks or scratches which add to their authentic quirky nature. The items are likely to have sharp points and small parts and are NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. They are sold as nostalgic replica products for adult collectors only and are not designed to comply with European Toy Safety Legislation.
