I taught industrial arts/technology for over 36 years. Built over 100 cars and this one is the prize winner. It's made out of kiln dried and sealed old growth balsa wood. It weighs only 76 grams total and all dimensions are legal based on the Pitsco engineering standards. If you are building one of these cars or looking for the fastest then you know weight is a major player in winning. It also shares the theme of Phineas and Fern Perry the Platypus. Axle holes were drilled using gauges and levels to assure they are perpendicular to car body.
